1. Introduction

Smile Align Tracker ("the App") is developed by Bytrionix to help users manage and monitor their clear aligner treatment schedule.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App stores, how it is used, and how it is protected.

By using Smile Align Tracker, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Smile Align Tracker is designed with privacy in mind.

The App stores the following information:

• Aligner treatment details (number of trays, treatment schedule, wear duration, reminder settings, treatment progress)
• Treatment photographs (if you choose to capture or import them)
• App preferences and reminder settings

This information is stored locally on your device.

Optional Cloud Backup

If you enable Cloud Backup, your data is stored only in your personal Google Drive AppData folder using your own Google account.

The backup remains under your Google account. Smile Align Tracker and Bytrionix cannot access, read, or view the contents of your backup.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Smile Align Tracker does not:

• Require user registration or login
• Create user accounts
• Collect your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
• Collect payment information
• Collect health records on our servers
• Track your browsing activity
• Display advertisements
• Sell your personal information
• Share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes

4. Camera and Photo Access

The App requests access to your camera and photos only to allow you to:

• Capture treatment progress photographs
• Import existing photographs
• Store photographs for your personal treatment tracking

These photographs remain on your device unless you choose to include them in your Google Drive backup.

5. Notifications

Smile Align Tracker may send local notifications on your device to remind you to:

• Change aligners
• Wear aligners
• Follow your treatment schedule

These notifications are generated locally on your device. No notification data is transmitted to our servers.

6. How Your Information Is Used

Your data is used solely to:

• Track aligner treatment progress
• Display treatment history
• Generate progress reports
• Calculate treatment timelines
• Send reminder notifications
• Restore your information from your personal Google Drive backup (if enabled)

Your information is never used for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

7. Cloud Backup

Cloud Backup is optional.

• Data is backed up to your personal Google Drive AppData folder.
• The backup is associated with your own Google account.
• Smile Align Tracker does not have access to your backup files.
• You may disable Cloud Backup at any time.

Deleting the App does not automatically remove your Google Drive backup. You may delete the backup manually from within the App if supported.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Because your treatment data is stored locally on your device or within your personal Google Drive account, you remain in control of your information.

However, no storage method or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Third-Party Services

Smile Align Tracker uses Google Drive solely to provide the optional backup and restore feature.

The App does not use advertising networks or third-party analytics services.

Use of Google Drive is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

10. Children's Privacy

Smile Align Tracker is not specifically directed toward children under the age required by applicable law.

If a parent or guardian believes that personal information has been provided inappropriately, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
